Child Care Subsidy Program – All California Sites

Through the Human Services Management Corporation, the Professional Association for Childhood Education Alternative Payment Program (PACEAPP) is a childcare subsidy program serving low-income families and their childcare providers. PACEAPP's program employees assist families to achieve self-sufficiency through education, advocacy, and empowerment. PACEAPP also helps families find the resources they need to support their families.

If you are interested in a career in Social Work, specifically in serving low-income families, please check the list below to see if your education and experience parallel our needs. If your qualifications reasonably match the criteria below, HSMC will contact you when a position becomes available.
  • Demonstrate support of the vision, mission and values of the Company
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or relevant field
  • Early childhood development education
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish/Vietnamese
  • Familiar with or able to quickly learn local, state and federal government terms and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, accurate data entry, and ability to type 45 wpm
  • Ability to interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and organized files
  • Ability to document actions/statements concisely and objectively
  • Willingness to collaborate with clients, child care providers and community organizations
  • Valid CA driver’s license
  • Ability to work extended hours, travel and attend meetings at short notice
