PACEAPP follows state and federal rate reimbursement regulations.
Our payment reimbursement guidelines for providers are as follows:
. We cannot reimburse a provider at a higher rate than that is paid to providers by non-subsidized families.
. If a provider offers vacation rates, rates for days of illness, or any other discounted rates to non-subsidized families, we require that these same rates apply to subsidized PACEAPP families. We can only reimburse providers within the Regional Market Rates (RMR).
. We ask that all the provider's rates for each age group be specified on our rate agreement form. Please sign this form before sending it to the PACEAPP office. Each year we will send all family child care homes and child care center providers a new rate agreement.
. Please submit any rate changes in writing to PACEAPP 30 days before the rate becomes effective.
. We cannot reimburse for late fees or pre-paid deductions.
. If a parent chooses an exempt from license provider and that provider will provide care in the child's home, the parent is responsible to meet the employment requirements of the provider. The parent is considered the employer of the provider in this situation.
. PACEAPP is not the employer of any child care provider offering child care to a PACEAPP family.
. In order to ensure that minimum wage requirements are being met, PACEAPP will only reimburse in-home providers when the provider is caring for three or more children.
. Since PACEAPP is not a provider's employer, we cannot offer disability or unemployment benefits to any provider and PACEAPP cannot provide proof of employment references requested on behalf of the provider.
