PACEAPP cannot reimburse families for child care services above the State Regional Market Rate (RMR). The RMR is a child care provider rate that is set by the California Resource and Referral Network survey. http://rrnetwork.org
Regional Market Rates (RMR) are based on the average cost of child care within each county. If a provider's rates are higher than the RMR, then PACEAPP will pay the maximum rate allowed by the RMR guidelines.
The family may make arrangements with the provider to pay the difference. The difference that the family pays is called a co-payment.
